This policy explains how Oriental Elegance uses information when you shop or sign in on this website. For privacy questions, contact orientalelegancebd@gmail.com.

Shopping and delivery information

Guest bags and wishlists are stored in your browser. If you sign in, your bag, wishlist, saved delivery addresses and account orders are stored in the shop’s database. You can save delivery addresses and choose a default to fill future checkouts. When you place an order, we collect the delivery and contact details you enter, the items ordered and order status information to process the order and arrange delivery. Cash on delivery does not require card details.

Google sign-in

Sign-in is optional. Google provides a provider account ID and, when available, an email address. The shop uses these to identify your account and maintain your session. The sign-in response may include your name; the shop does not store that name as part of your social account. Your Google account ID identifies your shop account.

Provider access tokens are used on the server to complete sign-in and are then discarded. Session token hashes and the account ID and email are stored in the database. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Temporary sign-in records expire after ten minutes. Signing out revokes the current session.

Service providers and access

The website and its database run on Cloudflare. Product images may be served by Supabase. Google processes its sign-in service under its own privacy policy. Authorized shop staff can access information needed for their roles; delivery details are used to arrange fulfillment.

Retention and your choices

Saved account bags, wishlists and order records remain in the shop’s database unless removed through the shop’s data handling process. Order information may need to be retained for fulfillment, dispute resolution or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Expired session and sign-in records are cleaned up when a new login starts.
